Depending upon the material requirements, different customers perform sintering of Metal Injection Molded (MIM) products in vacuum, nitrogen or hydrogen atmospheres. Most MIM materials are processed in refractory metal hot zones using molybdenum or tungsten heaters, while lower cost graphite heaters and insulation can meet the basic needs of general-use MIM parts. AVS MIM furnaces enable precise control of temperatures, gas flows, vacuum and partial pressure levels.
