Duplex Series Furnaces provide two furnace assemblies on a single frame, sharing one transformer and control system. This allows one furnace to be under power while the other cools and is unloaded and reloaded. The result is extraordinary processing versatility with minimum capital investment. Other benefits include saving floor space and eliminating cross contamination of incompatible processes. Temperature ratings of 1250, 1600 and 1750 °C are available for processing workloads up to 500 pounds per chamber in wet or dry hydrogen or inert gas.

The Duplex Furnace utilizes the time-tested "bell" configuration in which the work is placed on a hearth and the heating element, radiation shields and chamber are lowered over the work. The refractory metal hot zones are clean, allow rapid heating and cooling and produce exceptional temperature uniformity. A microprocessor-based temperature programmer and programmable logic controller (PLC) provide completely automatic, unattended control with precise, repeatable results.

Process Programs can be quickly and accurately changed from one run to the next using optional memory cartridges. These capabilities allow a variety of products to be processed with confidence.

The Duplex series furnaces are designed with the user in mind emphasizing ease of installation, maintenance, programming and operation.
